BUET suspends 8 students over ragging

DHAKA: Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) authorities   suspended eight students from its Titumir Hall on various terms over their alleged involvement in ragging. 

A release, signed by Professor Mizanur Rahman, who is the Director of the Department of Student Welfare at BUET, was issued on Wednesday (December 4).

The Board of Residence and Discipline of BUET took the decision.

Besides, six other students were suspended from the hall on different periods while one was alerted for the future.
